For all the non-geeks out there, the Unix “Epoch Time” is the number of seconds that have elapsed since midnight coordinated Universal Time (or UTC) on January 1, 1970.
So where were you at 1234567890 Unix time? I was exploring the new Milpitas Branch of the Santa Clara Public Library. Just for fun, where were you at midnight UTC on 01/01/1970? Since I was living in southern Florida at the time, at 7:00 PM EST on 12/31/69, I was probably having dinner with my family.
