After reading all the positive experiences with upgrading to Wordpress 2.7, I decided to take a shot at upgrading to it myself.  As I’ve come to expect from WP upgrades, it went smoothly and finished in under 5 minutes.

    Ken -
I enjoyed the “show” and the opportunity to have a conversation with you. Glad to hear you liked your visit to http://technopodge.com too. It’s very much a work in progress & steadily evolving, into what remains to be seen. Don’t fear the upgrade to WP 2.7, so long as you’re up to date on any existing plugins should be pretty painless. Mine was done in <5 minutes after backing everything up. Speaking of backups, even if and upgrade isn’t eminent – a backup is a great insurance policy. I’d be happy to coordinate a time with you for a screen-sharing session to walk through the backup & upgrade.
