Since the start of the year, I have been dilligently networking, often attending as many as 5 meetups / tweetups, etc. in a a given week. For the most part, my motivation is to share what I have learned with other job seekers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area; and to foster connections that may develop into job leads, either for myself or one of many friends & acquaintances in a similar situation.
Increasingly through the course of the conversation, people bring up some variation of the theme: “With all the talent available, we could create a company”.
