Apture is a cool new tool for embedding media into a blog / website. It came to my attention when @scobleizer tweeted about it while I was at Altamont Raceway. It sounded interesting; so I bookmarked it on my iPhone as something to check out.
I had some time this morning and decided to give it a try. It was an absolute breeze to register at http://apture.com. During the registration process it detected that my site is powered by Wordpress and delivered “customized” installation instructions on how to upload the apture plug-in and activate it. Voila! In less than 5 minutes, technopodge.com was media enabled. No messy template editing or code tweeking, just activate it and go.
@scobilizer tweeted about this great new tool yesterday. I had some time this morning so I decided to try implementing it here on http://technopodge.com. I was impressed when it took less than 5 minutes to register at http://apture.com and implement it here. Through it’s dashboard & editor, apture makes it easy to search for and embed content in a post / page. Visit http://apture.com and check it out today!
